Fresh colour is one of the best feelings there is. With a little care at home, you can keep that just-left-the-salon shine for much longer. Here is what our colour team recommends to every client.
1. Wait before the first wash
Give the cuticle 48 hours to close after a colour service. Skipping that first wash helps lock pigment in.
2. Go sulphate-free and cool
A gentle, colour-safe shampoo and a cool final rinse make a visible difference to how quickly tones fade.
3. Always use heat protection
Heat is the fastest way to dull colour. A light protective spray before blow-drying or using tongs is non-negotiable.
4. Book a gloss in between
A quick gloss or toner refresh halfway between colour appointments revives tone and adds incredible shine in under an hour.
